Welcome to LedgerBox! This guide will walk you through everything you need to know to start converting your bank statements from PDF to Excel/CSV format, and optionally export them directly to QuickBooks.

Step 1: Create Your Account
- Sign up for a free account at Sign Up
- Verify your email - Check your inbox for a verification link
- Get 10 free credits - Your account comes with 10 free page conversion credits to test our service
Step 2: Upload Your Bank Statements
Option A: Convert a Single File
Perfect for processing individual statements quickly:
- Navigate to the converter - Go to Bank Statements converter
- Select your bank - Choose from our list of supported banks, or select "General" if your bank isn't listed
- Upload your PDF - Drag and drop your bank statement PDF, or click to browse
- Maximum file size: 50MB
- Supports all major bank formats
- Wait for processing - Our AI processes most statements in under 30 seconds
- Review and download - Check the extracted data and download as Excel or CSV
Option B: Batch Process Multiple Files (Jobs)
Ideal for processing multiple statements at once:
- Navigate to the converter - Go to Bank Statements converter
- Upload multiple PDFs - You can drag and drop multiple files at once
- Basic plan: Process all files sequentially
- Pro/Business plans: Batch processing for faster results
- Click "Convert All Files" - This creates a job to process all uploaded files
- Name your job - Give it a descriptive name like "Q1 2024 Statements"
- Monitor progress - Go to the Jobs page to track processing status
- Download results - Once complete, download all processed files at once or individually
