What can I upload?
Bank statement PDFs, scans, and photos. Digital PDFs read directly; image-based files go through OCR and convert the same way. Multi-month statements are fine, and a single drop takes up to 20 files.
How accurate is the extraction?
99.3% row accuracy as it stands today. Every document is reconciled: debits, credits, and running balances must add up, and any row LedgerBox is not sure about comes back flagged for review instead of guessed.
How fast is it?
Under 8 seconds for a 10-page statement. You upload, the rows are read and reconciled, and the export is ready to download.
Which export formats are supported?
Excel (XLSX), CSV including QuickBooks 3-column and 4-column layouts, QBO for QuickBooks Web Connect, and JSON. Every export uses one transaction per row with separate date, description, debit, credit, and balance columns.
Does it work with my bank?
Yes. LedgerBox reads the statement itself rather than matching it against bank-specific templates, so statements from any institution convert the same way. There are also dedicated guides for 1,000+ banks and credit unions.
Is my data secure?
Documents are encrypted in transit and at rest, processed in isolated storage, and never used to train models. You can delete uploaded documents at any time and they are permanently removed.
How much does it cost?
The free trial includes enough pages to try several statements, and no credit card is required. Paid plans are listed in the pricing section, and you can cancel anytime.
Do I need to install anything?
No. LedgerBox runs in the browser: create an account, upload your documents, and download the results. Exports open in Excel, Google Sheets, or your accounting software.
